CFNA Barbell Club

Strength & Power
The two capacities that the CFNA Barbell Club will help you hone in on are strength and power. The 90 minute sessions will be led by a Certified USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach and will focus on mastering everything from basic barbell movements to detailed progressions through the more complex Olympic lifts. This club is open to everyone ranging from the hardcore Oly lifter to those who have just been introduced to what a barbell is.
Small Group Training
The sessions will be limited per block. This is to ensure that each individual is getting the attention required to adequately progress through these complex movements. Sessions will be packed full of controlled technique workshops that require concentration, patience and the watchful eye of experienced trainers.
Individualization
This is not a “one size fits all” program. The first 30 minutes of every session are set aside for “Advanced Rehab/Skills.” Each athlete will go through regular assessments and will be assigned a rehab/skill program to improve specific ailments, inflexibilities, or coordination issues unique to them. Progress will then be tracked, monitored, and reassessed throughout the program.
Focused Development
Sessions will be designed to improve strength, power and mobility through improving proficiency in the following movements:
- Back Squat
- Front Squat
- Shoulder Press
- Bench Press

- Dead Lift
- Clean
- Jerk
- Snatch
