8 Week Transformation

How do you transform your body?




First, let's review fitness in 100 words(courtesy of CrossFit, Inc.):


Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no Sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat.

Some is 1 to 3 per day, little is 1 to 3 times per week and no is none.  Sugar is also very sneaky - it is found in almost all packaged foods and goes by many names.  Cutting this from your diet will result in dramatic change.

Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics : pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc. hard and fast.

Basically, come to class and focus!  Take your strength segments seriously and work on your weaknesses.

Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense.

Remember to rest and recover in your off time - drink water, stretch and sleep so you can be your best and push your limits!

Regularly learn and play new sports.

Being fit and healthy is great but it is also important to put it to work and challenge your skills!

The 8 Week Transformation starts with you deciding what you will change and then focusing on changing it for 8 weeks.  Use your coaches and have an accountability system!  The 8 week challenge is going on now and those with the most dramatic change will be awarded for their hard work!  Remember - your goals may be related to strength, endurance or basic body composition!
