Okay, I know what to eat, but HOW should I be eating?

Here are the really simple rules of HOW to eat if you are removing fruits/grains/legumes/dairy:
-Eat when you are hungry.
-Eat until you are full.
-Every meal or snack should have PROTEIN in it (Meats, fowl, fish, seafood, eggs).
-Drink WATER with every meal or snack.
-Eat to support your activity level. i.e. You might not eat as much if taking a couple days off… OR you may want to eat MORE after a killer stint of WODs.
-IF POSSIBLE, DO NOT eat within 2 hours of bed time.
-DO NOT go more than 18 hours between meals.
-DO NOT eat SUGAR.

WHILE I STRONGLY SUGGEST DITCHING FRUIT, here are my suggestions on eating fruit:
-Eat a serving of fruit at breakfast or lunch, every other day.
-Choose fruits with LOW fructose levels. Stay under 15g of fructose per day.
-JUST AVOID DRIED FRUIT all together. The fructose levels are so high and it’s easy to get carried away… i.e. having 3 raisins just doesn’t make sense.
Fruits to eat:
-Lemon/Lime approx 3 or 4
-Raspberry/Blackberry – 2 hand fulls
-1/2 apple
-1/4 banana
-plum
-1/8th of a honeydew/cantaloupe
-3 strawberries

Just forget about:
-Peaches
-Pineapples
-Oranges
-Clementines
-grapes
-peaches

The fruit thing is vague, I know, so i am going to work on compiling a comprehensive list of dos and don’ts. In the mean time, just post here if you have a “what about this fruit”
