Sue,
Thanks for stopping by our website and checking us out.

As far as your question regarding protien powder, it all depends on what your fitness goals are. Don't look at the paleo diet as a laundry list of rules to live your life by. Think of it more as a framework to build your lifestyle around. You can eat paleo foods and bulk up, you can eat paleo foods and lean out, you can eat paleo foods and get fat. It's how you apply the concepts to your "diet" and your lifestyle that's going to determine the effects.

Is protein powder truley "Paleo"? Probably not, but is it a modern food source that can help you along your nutritional goals? Sure!

Here's a related article on protein powders i found on crossFit Intrepid's site.

Hope that helps, let me know if you have any questions.

Just thought i would mention something on the performance aspect....
Have you noticed anyone getting kipping pull ups?
Setting PRs on squats or dead lifts?
Nailing double unders?
Moving to higher boxes?
Hitting sets of reps unbroken?

If you aren't doing these things... are you TRYING to do these things?

We all know what we are doing, but there's only one way to find out what we are CAPABLE of doing... it's to go out and try. On strength days, go heavy, try to beat your last attempt at squat, or deadlift? Throw swings or kips into your pre/post workout work.

Let's kick some ass and set some PRs!
